Acceptable file types for illustrations are .psd (preferable), .tif, or .jpg (preferably to be avoided) with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi, preferably 600 dpi for line drawings.
Computer-drawn illustrations should preferably be submitted in a vector format such as .eps, .svg, or .ai.
If text is added to an illustration it should be submitted either in editable form or together with a “clean” version of the illustration.
Submit your illustrations as separate files and indicate in the manuscript where to put them.
