Futhark 8 published

The long-awaited eighth issue of Futhark: International Journal of Runic Studies (due 2017) is now available online. It contains four peer reviewed articles, two debate articles, one short notice and three reviews. As usual, the contributions cover a broad range of topics, both geographically and chronologically.

Futhark is an independent journal, but has as its base of operations the Runic Archives at the Museum of Cultural History, University of Oslo, and Uppsala Runic Forum at the Department of Scandinavian Languages, Uppsala University. It is 100% Open Access and available to the public without costs for readers and authors.
